Sweet Pea Stripes

I have had to sit around a lot over the last few days with my poorly bits, so i thought i would do some colouring in with my beloved promarkers!! This is a Sweetpea rubber stamped image. I made a mask to cover image so i could sponge background, think it needs to be a bit more vivid but the technique was ok. i was really pleased and then decided to glaze the moon with glossy accents, unfortunately bleedproof paper wrinkles as you can see! never mind, they say you learn something every day-lesson learned.

Im quite pleased with this, i borrowed Amber's stamps for this, both from Claritystamp ltd. Coloured lady with promarkers and glazed the flowers in her hair, you cant see it in pic. I inked edges of sentiment with black dye ink and sponge.

This is Amber's card, yes really!! The lady is a rubber stamp from Amber's fave stamp company.

Check out the shading on the face! this was only her second card using my promarkers, the hair is great too, kids are far more brave when it comes to colour. This card is entered in the kids challenge for May on facebook, fingers crossed! I love this layout so much i will be using it myself, thank you Amber!!

I went to our local craft fair in Port Sunlight on saturday,Kathy & Babs were there and Barbara from Clarity, Ali & Roy from Dimension Fourth and lots of other crafty folk. Anyway, i got some nice goodies but have not had chance to play yet,got lots to do around the house including the job of evicting a mouse if i can find the little swine! I would train Miss Milly to catch mice but im not sure a baby bunny would be any good at it,and to be honest im not sure she can spare the time-she is very busy digging her way to china via what used to be my quite nice garden!
Enough wittering Maria, when will they see some new cards? You will hopefully see some nice new cards in a couple of days!!
