Today Well Lived....

Afternoon!

Blimey it's busy here, mainly the fishies have kept me occupied. We had an infection which needed dealing with, fingers crossed its almost clear. Then I have had midwife duties, great fun..not, you have to watch the females and time it just right getting them into the nursery before the babies are born, then looking after the babies etc etc etc...

Anyways, how about a card..

This is an impromptu project we did in class on Sunday.

Stamps used are all Claritystamps. Dogrose, Dragonfly and Today verse.

Inks used Black Archival and Adirondack Peach Bellini and Terracotta.

I thought this would be a nice one to send to one of my Preston ladies Rachael for her birthday today, hope it arrived safe!

Ok that's it for today, quick bite to eat then off to get my nails fixed

Thanks for stopping by.

A little Hougie box

Afternoon!

I was having a look through my pics to see what I have that I can show, lots of stuff that has to stay under wraps for now, but not much else..

I did find a couple of Hougie projects though, here's one..

This was made with instructions from Hougie book 3 and a couple of Claritystamps of course.

This was really easy to construct and can be made various sizes.

The punch I used for the black trim is an EK Success.

See you tomorrow for a card.

A bit distracted...

Morning!

Yep I'm distracted because my super fantastic BIG Gelli Plate awaits me...

So that's my excuse for speed blogging today

This is my last sample from Barbara's June tv shows.

I stamped the Jazz Montage in Ultramarine Archival, then stamped the music score, jazz man and text from my Happy word set, done!

Have a good Monday whatever your doing.

Gellied Wrought Iron

Happy Slipper day!

Oh yes, I am wearing my battered discoloured fluffy friends and I don't care...

I am working though, honest, lots of the artwork produced by the design team to be loaded on the website (this is one of my jobs when dodgy old body needs to stay home for a rest)

So I have just had a break for a bite to eat and thought I would slip a quick blog post in.

This is using up a waste/test piece from a Gelli session.

It sort of reminded me of brick wall in a garden and a funny looking trellis with the sky above, so I added a moon with acrylic paint.

The stamps are from the new Wrought Iron Dolls House set and Silhuette Lily, and I thought it called for the friendship sentiment.

I finished with some Stream ink blended around the edges.

Hope you like it.

Have a great day! Maybe see you tomorrow in Doncaster?

Muted Toadstools

Good nearly afternoon!

Nope I haven't been lying in bed all morning, i was up early to see to all the animals and ive even done some housework, hazardous I know!

So while I sit with a coffee I thought I would blog..

Here is another of my samples for Barbara's shows last weekend.

I absolutely love these Toadstools, they look so good in any colour scheme.

I thought I would dust off my Promarkers for this one, I do neglect them sometimes.

I also used a couple of the Hares and Fern stamp, and oh look..it's my fave sentiment again!

I mixed Hazelnut ink and Currant together for the hills and Fern.

Hope you like it!

Dancin in the moonlight...

Morning!

Apologies for absence, again..

I have been very busy getting house and garden type stuff done, just in time too I think because today looks like it might bucket down over the Wirral.

Today's card is using one of the Jazz stamps that Barbara launched on create and craft last weekend.

I also used my large Lamp Post, Dreams sentiment and my New York skyline mask.

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by.

Pug among the Toadstools

Evening!

I'm just back from 'up north' and I thought I would make a start on blogging my tv samples from Barbara's shows this weekend.

This is using the toadstool and Hare classroom set, I lurrrrve it!

Do you recognise Pug the fairy? He had to feature on this card didnt he.

I think I used Raspberry and Stonewashed inks.

Hope you like it!

Untitled

Good morning!

As promised here is another of the cards I did for Creative Stamping 10 using the free stamps

More of the Canary's sandpaper used here..

I used white acrylic paint on the back of the film for the pale bits to make it stand out more.

Then decoupaged the huts.

Thanks or stopping by!
